Head of Information Technology

Job Purpose

Lead and manage the technology function of Etisalat Money, ensuring secure, reliable, scalable, and compliant digital financial services. The role is responsible for the MFS platform, IT operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, integrations, technology governance, and vendor management while supporting business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Manage the Mobile Financial Services (MFS) platform, applications, and integrations.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of all production systems.
• Lead cybersecurity, IT risk management, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Oversee infrastructure, databases, cloud services, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Manage integrations with banks, payment gateways, merchants, EMIs, APS, and third-party partners.
• Lead technology projects, platform upgrades, and solution implementations.
• Manage technology vendors, contracts, SLAs, and service delivery.
• Establish IT governance, policies, standards, and operational procedures.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing IT team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree or relevant professional certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 1 year in a MFS role.
• Strong experience in Digital Payments, Mobile Money, Fintech, Banking, or Telecom Technology.
