Quality Control Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge of International & National Construction Code.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel, MS Project. and Project Management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in Dari and Pashto; knowledge of English is an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 9001, or related disciplines are an advantage.

Work Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in quality control within building construction projects.
• Experience in residential, commercial, institutional, or high-rise building projects.
• Experience in inspection, testing, quality documentation, and compliance management.
• Familiarity with quality audits, material approvals, and Non-Conformance Report (NCR) procedures.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, specifications, and building codes.
• Ability to review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Experience in preparing and implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Knowledge of concrete, steel, masonry, finishing, and waterproofing inspection procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality management documentation systems.
• Ability to prepare inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
