خلاصه وظیفه
- Distribute cool boxes with freeze icepacks to DBS collectors and make sure that DBS collectors properly collect and store the samples.
- Collect samples from DBS collectors, check temperature, properly document and handover them to cold chain supervisor or to the reference laboratory.
- Regularly follow and communicate with the in charge person in the reference laboratory and make sure that the samples are properly kept below -20 󠅃degree Celsius.
- Cooperate with the cold chain supervisor and ensure teamwork in the field.
- Update stock card and consumption report for the lab items.
- Prepare report of the DBS collection and consumption on daily, weekly, and monthly base and submit it to the technical supervisor/provincial officer.
- Coordinate with the nearest health facility in the area for the proper waste management and disposal of the waste to ensure environmental safety.
- Prepare specifications and participate in the procurement of laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and supervise DBS collection process in close collaboration with the technical supervisor and make sure that DBS collectors perform his duty according to his job description.
- Have a portable stock of lab items with him during supervision/monitoring visits and distribute them to DBS collectors in case of need.
- Prepare monthly work plan and submit it to the technical supervisor/provincial officer.
- Check the quality of lab items including expiry date
- Any other task assigned by the line manager.

- Diploma in laboratory
o 3-5 years’ work experience in the similar field

In 1992 HealthNet TPO was established by ‘Doctors without Borders’ to bridge the gap between emergency aid and structural development. The organization is now the result of a merger between HealthNet International (HNI) and the Transcultural Psychosocial Organization (TPO). HNI has knowledge and experience in reinforcing healthcare systems and prevention, diagnosis and treatment of transmissible diseases. TPO is an expert in the field of psychosocial and mental health care for survivors of war and natural disasters. HealthNet TPO Afghanistan is managed by a team of qualified Afghans and supported by a team of experts at the HQ of the organization in Holland.
HealthNet TPO Afghanistan is providing Primary Health Care, Mental Health and psychosocial services, fighting malaria and supporting Mother & Child Health Care in terms of providing training for Community Midwifes and to conduct operation research. HealthNet TPO is currently implementing projects in almost 20 provinces of Afghanistan and the major program it implements are HER (Health Emergency Response) projects in three provinces, Nutrition, Mental Health and Psychosocial, Malaria Control program, Tuberculus....... through a community system strengthening approach.
