The job
Specific Responsibilities
- Lead and ensure the establishment, development, and effective functioning of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Counseling and Treatment Center.
- Manage and oversee the overall activities and daily operations of the Mental Health and PSCC services.
- Ensure appropriate support and coordination for psychosocial and mental health clients when required.
- Represent and coordinate the Mental Health Program with relevant stakeholders, including the Ministry of Public Health, provincial hospitals, and BPHS/EPHS implementing organizations.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the Supervisor and relevant ARDHO program management.
- Facilitate and support relevant training programs as a trainer when required.
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to the relevant ARDHO management.
- Supervise the collection, management, and reporting of PSCC data, records, equipment, and other relevant information.
- Ensure regular follow-up and monitoring of registered cases at the PSCC.
- Manage and monitor the activities of the Data Collection/Information Officer and Psychosocial Counselor.
- Ensure that clients receive appropriate support and are protected from further psychological or psychosocial harm.
- Support clients in developing and presenting appropriate protection and support plans when required.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and protection of clients’ personal and case-related information at all stages.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies, procedures, and ethical principles applicable to mental health services.
- Identify and address barriers faced by clients in accessing appropriate mental health and psychosocial services.
- Support the development and delivery of relevant training and awareness sessions for staff and other stakeholders.
- Ensure proper registration, documentation, and management of mental health and psychosocial cases.
- Ensure proper case management, counseling, basic information collection, and referral of clients to other appropriate services when required.
- Maintain regular coordination and cooperation with the local PPHD, health facilities, and other relevant organizations in the catchment Area.
- Coordinate with the Hospital Director, doctors, and heads/responsible persons of relevant hospital departments to ensure effective access to mental health and psychosocial services.
- Maintain continuous cooperation with staff to ensure quality and appropriate services to clients.
- Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or ARDHO management.

Work Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in mental health, psychosocial counseling, or related services.
- Female candidates are preferred/required based on project requirements.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
