The job

The neonatal nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care to newborn babies in the maternity hospital, including monitoring vital signs and clinical conditions, providing routine and specialized neonatal care, administering prescribed medications and treatments, identifying and responding to newborn emergencies, maintaining accurate nursing records, and working closely with specialists, midwives, and other healthcare staff to ensure safe and quality care for newborns.

Having the ability to work in (Neonatal Ward), (Pediatric Ward), (Emergency Department), (Supply Center), and (Nutrition Department) is required.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma from the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan.
  • Valid professional nursing license/registration.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in(Neonatal Ward), (Pediatric Ward), (Emergency Department), (Supply Center), and (Nutrition Department) is required.
  • Practical knowledge of emergency nursing procedures and pediatric patient care.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and commitment to patient care.
  • Being able to work in shifts, including night shifts.
