The job
Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluation and detailed analysis of the project’s required technical specifications and designs.
- Evaluate and confirm technical specifications offered by the vendors and companies.
- Study and Research the necessary IEC standards related to projects and cable products.
- Check compliance with QC requirements as per the approved QC plan of the project
- Monitoring and Evaluation of the contractors regarding project requirements.
- Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications.
- Manage, monitor, and supervise project activities based on the developed project working schedule.
- Support the manufacturing department with product development and testing.
- Analysis and compile work-in-progress reports from related projects and submit them to the general manager.
- Technical support for the team members and colleagues as necessary
- Execute any other tasks assigned and entrusted by top management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s Degree would be preferred.
- Fluent in English, Dari, and Pashto.
- Fluency in reading and business communication skills in English is highly required.
- Have a thorough understanding of MS Office Package and other computer-assisted engineering software.
- Have required analytical and arithmetic abilities for analysis and calculations.
- Have good analytic and reporting skills.
- Be able to present and debate complex technical problems.
- Be able to work under supervision and if required in a supervisory role.
- Highly conscientious, informed, and diligent person.
